(Atlanta, GA) The Black Jacket Symphony is set for Atlanta to present Queen’s “A Night at the Opera” featuring Marc Martel on Friday, February 22!

The Black Jacket Symphony offers a unique concert experience through recreating classic albums in a live performance setting. A selected album is performed in its entirety by a group of handpicked musicians specifically selected for each album, with no sonic detail being overlooked–the musicians do whatever it takes to musically reproduce the album exactly as it sounds on the album. Following the album and a brief intermission, the band returns to the stage for a full set of greatest hits by the evening’s featured artist.

*The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra will not be performing at this show.

A$AP Rocky @ Infinite Energy Center, January 23

(Duluth, GA) A$AP Rocky will be hitting the road this winter with his Injured Generation Tour.  The 18-city North American tour kicks off on Tuesday, January 8th in Minneapolis at The Armory, and will make stops in Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Atlanta and more, before wrapping on Wednesday, February 6th in Kent, WA at accesso ShoWare Center. The tour is produced by AEG Presents.

The tour comes on the heels of the release of A$AP Rocky’s highly-anticipated third studio album, TESTING, which has garnered over 1 billion streams worldwide, landing at #1 on the iTunes charts in 16 countries upon release. TESTING launches a new era for Rocky, exploring new sounds and ideas in an unparalleled musical landscape where he continues to break the mainstream mindset with sonics rarely heard in hip-hop.  This album picks up where Rocky last left off, weaving mind-melting aural psychedelics into hip-hop that is, at times dark and confessional, and in other moments uplifting and celebratory. Rocky is joined on TESTING with features from Juicy J, T.I., Moby, Frank Ocean, French Montana, FKA twigs, Skepta, Kid Cudi and Kodak Black.

Coca Cola Roxy, Upcoming Shows

(Atlanta) The first building that became Atlanta’s legendary Coca-Cola Roxy Theatre went thru many incarnations before establishing itself as the region’s premier music venue.

Originally opening in 1930 as a movie theatre, it later became the Capri Movie Theatre. As time passed, Alex Cooley built the Capri Theatre in the 70’s after closing the Historic Electric Ballroom. It went on to become a Cinema and Draft House and then ultimately The Roxy. After Alex and business partner Peter Conlon obtained the lease it would officially become known as the Coca-Cola Roxy Theatre.

The Coca Cola Roxy Theatre opened in 1990 after a brief renovation with an incredible performance by Aretha Franklin. Many great acts followed and rooted the venue at the heart of a thriving music community; Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Lenny Kravitz, Bon Jovi, Leonard Cohen. Bryan Ferry, The Ramones, Elton John, Natalie Cole, David Byrne, Lyle Lovett, Indigo Girls, and Motley Crue to share just a few.

Many national touring bands would request a date at The Roxy as the venue had a unique vibe and look with memorabilia on the walls from various top performers and featured it’s iconic “Elton” and “Elvis” bars.

The Coca Cola Roxy enjoyed a well-deserved reputation regionally as well as nationally as the venue to play from 1990 until it’s closing in 2006. Two years of painstaking restoration led the way for a grand reopening in 2010, now standing with its new name Buckhead Theatre. Embracing the deep musical heritage of Georgia and the Southeast, Buckhead Theatre continues to be the site of sold-out shows of every musical genre, rock, country, hip hop alternative, and more.

Live Nation is honored to embrace the legacy of Coca-Cola Roxy and uphold the rich history of the original location by building the new Coca-Cola Roxy in The Battery Atlanta for a new generation of live music fans..
